Fellow 3/7 Weapons Co. Marine, Steve Sanderson joins Juslin and Mike for a conversation about Ramadi Iraq, life in the Corps and, the hardships of transitioning out of service. Steve served in Ramadi on two combat tours, 2005-06 and 2007. He sheds light on some of the kinetic activity that took place during those deployments, discussing the tragedy at the Ramadi ‘Glass Factory’; among other events.
The hardships of deployment have helped encourage Steve to stay the course in his new walk of life. After leaving the Corps, Steve worked for a large tactical distribution company and has been attending school full time. He shares valuable insights for fellow transitioning warriors looking to become civilian students.
