254: Adam Fenner, Marine

Posted by Bennett Tanton on

When Adam Fenner was 17 years old he enlisted into the Marine Corps. And when the recruiter asked him what job he wanted, the only one he could think of was a rifleman, because what other job is in the Marine Corps?

By the time he was 18 he had seen combat in Iraq, and when his four years of active duty were complete he had served two combat tours in Iraq. Wanting to have the opportunity to attend college, he joined the Nevada National Guard, as a Combat Medic. After three tours to Afghanistan he buckled down and finished his Bachelors Degree in Accounting.  Adam has a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Accounting and a minor in Economics from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Adam then went into public accounting working for a Big 4 firm, with a focus on Travel, Hospitality and Leisure clients, with experience working with Food & Beverage, Entertainment, and Retail. His primary client base now is small business construction.

He is the founder of Wilson Lake Accounting
